Hervé de Roucy, C2J Avocats Partner, has been a lawyer at the Paris Bar since 1994. He holds a DESS advanced degree in Fiscal Law from Paris V University.
After four years of experience in different firms, in particular the tax department of FIDAL, he joined C2J Avocats in 1991 and later became partner.
He works in corporate taxation and more specifically in company restructurings and managing intra-group relations.
Hervé de Roucy has developed special expertise in the transfer of family-owned businesses, mainly in the context of complex family buy out operations combining methods of gifts, Dutreil Pacts, and the transfer of assets.
He counsels individuals, residents and non-residents, in particular in cases of impatriation or expatriation, with regard to their reporting requirements (income taxes, “IFI” wealth property tax, land revenues, capital gains, exit tax, etc.), and their real estate investment projects (unfurnished and furnished rentals, etc.).
He has substantial experience in tax adjustment and tax audits, in particular with regard to asset value adjustment (gift and inheritance taxes, “ISF” wealth and “IFI” taxes).
He is a member of the IACF (Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux), an organisation of specialised tax lawyers.
